Michael Hammond received an MA in English from Northeastern
Illinois University in Chicago and has taught and tutored
composition and literature in both Chicago and San Francisco for
more than a dozen years. At USF, Michael teaches RHET 110 and 120
and loves to help welcome students to the engaging world of
academic research. His classes emphasize a curious exploration of
big picture topics from a local perspective based on the belief one
can "change the world from here."
