Meet the Staff

Counseling and Psychological Services staff is available to offer you an assessment on an individual basis. Your counselor may then recommend individual, couple, or group counseling. Typically, the counseling is provided through CAPS. In some instances, when the concern requires long-term counseling or a more specialized approach, a referral will be made to an appropriate practitioner, agency, or treatment program. Our group services change each semester in relation to student interest and are advertised across campus.

Our staff includes six staff psychologists who have doctorates and are licensed therapists in the state of California. Our full-time training program includes two postdoctoral fellows who hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. and five predoctoral interns. All staff members are fully qualified clinicians ready to help you.

Our Office Manager will be happy to help you set up an appointment with any clinician. Please call 415-422-6352 or come to Counseling and Psychological Services, located in the Lower Level of Gillson Hall.
