Consultation and Outreach

Consultation
Consultation Services are available to students, faculty, family members, roommates, friends and staff when they have concerns about the psychological well-being of a fellow student, family member, friend, or colleague. Contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 422-6352 and ask to speak to a member of the professional staff. If appropriate, we will provide you with some low-fee referrals to clinicians in the community.

Outreach

Outreach/Educational Services are a part of our effort to reach the largest possible segment of the USF population and to assist in preventing problems as well as helping to resolve existing ones. Educational literature and audiovisual aids are available at CAPS. Guest lectures on a variety of mental health topics can be arranged with a two-week advance request. Counseling and Psychological Services staff would be glad to design a program for your group or organization.
