USF 2012 SUMMER PROJECT LOGISTICS:
VEHICLE TRAFFIC
- No vehicle access to the center of campus via campus walk between Harney Science and Gleeson/Geschke Library 5/21-8/9
- No vehicle access to the center of campus via campus walk between UC and Memorial Gym - 5/21-6/6
- No vehicle or pedestrian access in Phelan alley and Phelan loading dock
PEDESTRIAN ACCESS
PHASE 1 - 5/21-6/6
- Pedestrian access on campus walk between Harney Science and Gleeson/Geschke Library will use temporary path along work zone. The path will continue on Gleeson lawn to Kalmanovitz.
- The center of campus and main campus walk will be open and accessible.
- Campus walk between UC and Memorial Gym will be accessible using sidewalk along Memorial Gym.
PHASE 2 - 6/7-8/9
- Pedestrian access on campus walk between Harney Science and Gleeson/Geschke Library will use temporary path along work zone. The path will continue on Gleeson lawn to Kalmanovitz.
- Center of campus and main campus walk will be closed to all pedestrian traffic from Kalmanovitz (breezeway) to Cowell main entrance.
- Access to Kalmanovitz, UC and the center of campus from Gleeson Plaza will be through Kalmanovitz, and Cowell Hall.
- Pedestrian access to Cowell Hall main entrance via temporary walkway along work zone.
ACCESSIBLE ROUTES:
PHASE 1:
- Traveling to center of campus, all buildings and routes are accessible, except the campus walk between Harney Science and Gleeson/Geschke Library.
- Travel at UC and Memorial gym is accessible using sidewalk along Memorial gym.
PHASE 2:
- The main campus walk will be closed at the center of campus to all access - between the breezway at Kalmanovitz hall and the Cowell main entrance.
- Accessible detour routes to the center of campus from Gleeson Plaza is through the first westerly Kalmanovitz entance. Please use elevator to the ground floor and travel out the back entrance to the ground level entrance of Cowell Hall. Use Cowell Hall elevator to the first floor and then access the center of campus using the Cowell Hall Main entrance
- Access to Gleeson Plaza and Kalmanovitz from Golden Gate Ave is via path between Fromm Hall and Gleeson/Geschke Library
