About the USF Alumni Association

Founded in 1881, when USF was still St. Ignatius College, the USF Alumni Association is more than 93,000 strong.

Spread across all 50 states and more than 110 countries, USF alumni include two San Francisco mayors, a U.S. Senator, four California Supreme Court justices, a California lieutenant governor, two Pulitzer Prize winners, an Olympic medalist, more than 270 Peace Corps volunteers, and a former president of Peru. Their success reflects the value of a USF education.

Committees

STANDING COMMITTEES

Fall Fest Committee — Supports the planning and publicizing of Fall Fest weekend in collaboration with Student Life, Admissions, and Athletics, including reunions and receptions, a concert and dance, and athletic events, as well as the fall family weekend and open house.

Community Service Committee — Works to involve students and alumni in service projects locally and across the country, including the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Alumni/Student Resources Committee — Strives to ring together students and alumni to exchange advice and ideas on how to keep students active in the USF community after graduation.

Technology Committee — Seeks to better connect USF alumni with the university and with each other, using social networking sites and online technology.
